He is survived by: his parents, Beverly Jean Merritt (Goff) of Sweetwater, Texas and John Merritt of Houston, Texas; his sisters, B. J. Hollowell of Mineola, TX, Jessica Merritt of Houston, Texas and Kendra Merritt of Houston, Texas; and his aunts and uncles, Dennis Goff of Odessa, Randy Merritt of Houston, Joyce Andrews of Houston, Mary, William Hollis of Abilene, Glenda Hollowell of Abilene and Kathy Hollowell of Eastland, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
