He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Delores Jennings; his parents, Chester Cunningham and Eula Cunningham; and his children, Danny Cunningham, C. E. Cunningham and Sandra Santos.
He is survived by: his sons, Max Cunningham of Sweetwater and Sam Cunningham of Sweetwater; and his grandchildren, Brandy Cunningham-Martin (Arthur) of San Angelo, Amanda Kay Cunningham of Boise, Jasmine Santos of Lubbock, TX, Tabitha Santos of Florida, Ely Cunningham of Sweetwater, Scott Cunningham of Sweetwater, Emily Jimenez (Miguel) of Lewisville, TX and Jacob Cunningham of Sweetwater.
