He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Mary Samples of Sweetwater; and his siblings, John Samples (Mary) of Tyler, Bobby Samples (Amy) of Kilgore, Lena Prince of Tyler and Emma Fields of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
