He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Thompson and Stella Thompson; his former wife Dortha Louise Rasco Thompson; his daughter Sharla Brown; and his granddaughter Jessica Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Mari Lou Thompson of Arizona; his children, Sheree Hartman of Roby, Shelby Thompson (Shanon), Shelly Scherwitz and Shalon Thompson of Cherokee; his stepchildren, Charli of Illinois, Lesia of Colorado, Lori of Arizona and Kevin of Arizona; his sister Barbara Mardis of Sweetwater; and his brother-in-law Derwayne Rasco (Barbara) of Roby. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Hendricks Hospice or the Roby Cemetery Association.
