He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis and Zadie Bell Stone, Sr. (Wilkerson); his wife Betty Dean Creech; his son Billy Eugene Stone; and his siblings, Curtis Stone, Jr., Raymond Stone and Neva Stone Herring.
He is survived by: his son Bobby Stone of Tye, TX; his grandchildren, Billy Don Stone of Post, TX and Samantha Ann Stone of Abilene, TX; and his nephews, Mike Stone, David Stone, Robert Stone, James Morris, Rex Morris and Dennis Gillenwater. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
