She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Colwell and Nettie Colwell (Tollison); her son Michael Ellison; and her siblings, Bobby Colwell, Dennis Colwell and Glenda Ruth Wimberly.
She is survived by: her spouse Welton Ellison; her children, Melissa Hoyle (Jesse) of Sweetwater and Glenn Ellison (Connie) of Sweetwater; her sisters, Patsy Ribble and Dianne Guidry; and her brother-in-law Edwin Ellison (Jane). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
