She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Burl Armstrong, Sr. and Thealin Armstrong (May); her son Michael K. Mitchell; and her brother Sonny Armstrong. She is survived by: her children, Susan Amy Mitchell of Sweetwater and Richard Mitchell (Ruby Ann) of Sweetwater; and her siblings, Raymond Armstrong and Michele Jones (Mark). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
