He is survived by: his wife Melba Bess of Sweeny; his children, Michael Brown of Houston, Robbie Williams of Bay City, Roshon Bess of Sweeny, Keith Bess of St. Louis, MO, Armentha Williams of Houston and Tanja Ward (Chad) of Brazoria; his brothers, Neal Bess, Jr. (Audrey) of Sweeny, Anthony Bess (Jacki) of Lake Jackson, John Bess (San) of North Carolina and Jessie Roy Bess, Sr. of Old Ocean; his mother-in-law Ernestine Robinson of Brazoria; his siblings-in-law, Rosalind Kay Bonner (Marcus) of Brazoria, Duane Randon (Denise) of Lake Jackson and Walter Robinson of Brazoria; and his close friend Clifford Bernard of Cedar Lake. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Mt. Zion Church (6437 FM521, Brazoria, TX 77422). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Mount Zion Church (6437 FM521, Brazoria, TX 77422).
