We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2022, at the age of 81, Phyllis Luann Hendershot of Sweeny, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Voyd Hanna and Bertha Sewell Hanna Norman; her former husband Millard Finley (Pete); her son Dennis Finley; and her siblings, George Hanna (GW), Ray Hanna, Wesley Hanna, Quinda Hanna, Agnes Merritt and Bo.
She is survived by: her husband Loyd Hendershot; her son Brad Finley; her grandson Dylan Finley; her great grandchild Serenity; and her siblings, Naomi Swinney of Janesville, CA, Elby Hanna of Victoria, Zana Ellis (Wayne) of Ganado, Margie Mielsch of Cedar Lane, Paul Hanna (Sheila) of Bay City and Faye Pounders (James) of Brazoria. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces, cousins, and friends.
In 1994, in recognition of Phyllis' many contributions to the improvement of the overall efficiency and operation of the Polycarbonate and Blends Research Laboratory, she was promoted to Office Administrator of the Polyolefins Research.
