It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juana Ordonez (Sweeny, Texas), born in Taft, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Faustino Parra and Manuela Parra (Sosa); and her son Jose "PePe" Ordonez. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Ordonez Jr., Cayetana Martinez, Carmen Jammer (Elliott), Juanita Griffith, Lupe Thompson (Bruce), Connie Ordonez and Nicanor Ordonez (Marchelle); and her siblings, Andrea Ramirez and Jimmy Sosa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great- great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (310 N McKinney St, Sweeny, TX 77480). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
