It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juana Ordonez (Sweeny, Texas), born in Taft, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Faustino Parras and Manuela Parras (Sosa); and her son Jose "PePe" Ordonez. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Ordonez Jr., Cayetana Martinez, Carmen Jammer (Elliott), Juanita Griffith, Lupe Thompson (Bruce), Connie Ordonez and Nicanor Ordonez (Marchelle); and her siblings, Andrea Ramirez and Jimmy Sosa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great- great grandchildren.
