He was predeceased by: his brother Alvoyd Fails. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Fails; his children, Janet Joyner (David) of Lubbock, TX, Gary Fails (Mary) of Sweeny, TX and John Fails of San Antonio, TX; his sister Joyce Gragg of San Antonio, TX.; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Hammond, Allyson Wall, Staci Lewis, Lindsay Steffens, Orey Fails and Hayden Fails. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, masks will be required for both events.
