He is survived by: his wife Bernardene; his children, Kara Jones (Markham), Kurt Heyn (Dixie Carr-Heyn) and Karla Noorlag (Rick); his grandchildren, Molly Noorlag-Hu (Gordon) and Daniel Noorlag; and his siblings, John Heyn (Mary), Lois Schlamp, Kay Watson, Mike Heyn (Jane) and Amelia "Eileen" Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
