She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Garcia Salazar, Jr., Kimberly Lewis (David) and Melissa Salazar; her grandchildren, Kory Lewis (Hannah), Elia Hiers (Derick), Fabian Pena, Joshua Gutierrez (Amanda), Brandon Lewis, Jairon Ordonez and Kristen Lewis; her great grandchildren, Ava and John Hiers; and her siblings, Jesse Ayala (Debbie), Jorge Ayala, Jose Ayala (Sandy), Dora Mosqueda and Marcella Lanehart.
