It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey Ann Barclay of Sweeny, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Poole and Lucile Jordan Poole; her husband J. C. Barclay; her siblings, Jack, Jimmy Poole and Vera Daly O'Brien; and her son-in-law Blaine Slaughter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Slaughter of Sweeny, Denise McKay (Mark) of League City and Karen Hester (David) of Owasso, OK; and her caregiver Tamika Stevens. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
