With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn McConnell of Sunset, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Belle Workman (Suson) and Ralph Workman; her niece Karen Phillips; and her great-niece Ashley Lee. She is survived by: her husband Wayne McConnell; her daughter Sheila Sidlauskas (Don) of Iowa Park; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Jacobi Sidlauskas of Iowa Park; her siblings, Ruby Jewell Phillips (Edward) of Decatur and Ralph "Buttons" Workman (Linda) of Rhome; her nieces, Cathy Phillips, Chassidy and Tierney Workman; her nephew Wesley Workman; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler, Taylor, Shannon "Pinky" Lee, Nicholas, Alex and Zoe Wigington. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews; extended family members and a host of friends.
