He is survived by: his sibling Towers; his wife Carmen Rojas Staufert; his sons, Jesus Miguel Staufert Jr. and Robert Staufert (Martha Rodriguez-Staufert); his grandchildren, Alanis and Nadia Staufert; and his nieces and nephews, Guillermo Alberto Staufert III, Jesus Ricardo Staufert, Carmen Staufert of Branch, Maria Antonietta Staufert of Fonseca, Jose Luis Staufert, Rosana Staufert, Hector Arturo Caballero and Gerardo Caballero.
