He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Hood and Mauline Hood (Vaughn); his siblings, Billy Ray Hood, Joe Hood, Ann Dickerson and Delma Howard; his daughter Keena Morgan; and his granddaughter Shelbey Jean Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Vonda (Adams); his children, Shannon Hood of Chico, Billy Hood (Amanda) of Ponder and Mollie Ice (Scott) of Bowie; his siblings, Mary Christopher (Glen) of Chico and Lott Hood (Nora) of Chico; and his grandchildren, Shannon of Lexi, TJ, Patrick, Catlean, Corben, Gage, Brooklen, Tanher, Evian and Emma. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
