We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 63, Dewayne Edward Franklin of Sunset, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Franklin; and his grandparents, Edward, Clinta Webb, W. C., Jackie England and Finis Franklin.
He is survived by: his mother Joan Franklin (Webb) of Bowie; his children, Kyle Franklin (Laura) of San Marcos and Jacy Bissell (Robert) of Houston; his grandchildren, Logan, Jackson Franklin, Lincoln, Landon Bissell and Kennedy Franklin; his sister Tammy Adams (Tom) of Graham; his niece Hannah Atwood (Brady) of Graham; his nephew Michael Morrison of Dallas; his great-niece Harper Atwood; his great-nephew Beckett Atwood; and his close friends, Brian Bentley (Lancine) of Denton and Cindy Workman of Bowie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (1418 TX-59, Bowie, TX 76230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sunset Church (90296 W Front St, Sunset, TX 76270).
