He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Gloria Samaniego; his children, Alfonso, Eduardo Samaniego, Sandra, Miriam, Maria and Elizabeth Samaniego; and his siblings, Manuel, Leopoldo, Bernadino, Reynaldo Samaniego, Herlinda and Elvira Samaniego. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
