He is survived by: his grandchildren, Devin Roberts, Austen Griggs, Nikki Roberts, Carter Strawn and Carson Schlem; his wife Connie Schlem (Abbey); his children, Dawn Crowley of Sunray, Mardell Strawn (Jon Christensen) of Marble Falls, Texas and Jason Schlem of Long Beach, California; and his great grandchildren, Kaebren, Audie, Troy, Gal Roberts, Mia and Isla Van Schalkwyk.
