He is survived by: his wife Rosa Canales; his children, Refugio Cuco Canales (Gracie) of George West, TX, Cleo Hughes (William "Buck") of Spearman, TX, Estella Carbajal (Raul) of Wheeler, TX and Freddie Canales (Monica) of Aurora, CO; and his siblings, Elma Lucio, Arthur Canales and Arnulfo Canales. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
