He was predeceased by: his son David Anthony Simmons Jr.; and his brothers, Terry Dean Simmons and Coy Sheril Simmons Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Taylor (Jeff Murillo) of Salado, Texas. and Andrew Alexander Simmons of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jayden Bryce Simmons, Michael Drake Simmons, Noah Brooks Murillo and Grant Taylor Murillo; his parent Coy Sheril; and his brothers, Michael Wayne (Shannon Simmons) of Dallas, Jonathan Paul Sr. (Marty Simmons) of Dallas and Mark Stephen Simmons of Kemp. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
