He was predeceased by: his parents, Daries Witt and Dean Witt; his wife Janie Witt; and his son Mark Drake. He is survived by: his sister Diane Hillman (Ed) of White Deer; his children, Tina Strickland (Jonathan) of Sundown, Kristi Kerzee (George), Danette Henderson of Borger, Michael Drake, Emely of Washington and Darick Witt (Melissa) of Borger; and his grandchildren, Aerin, Kale, Ryker Strickland of Sundown, Connor Kerzee (Jocelyn) of Lubbock, Grayson Drake of Lubbock, Michael Drake Jr., Kirstin Drake of Washington, David Henderson of Borger, Ashley Shine of Borger, Devin Witt of Borger and Cameron Witt of Borger. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Krestridge Funeral Home (505 Austin St, Levelland, TX 79336).
