It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Thomas of Sumner, Texas, born in Fannin, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Worthey and Clara Crutchfield Worthey; and her siblings, Aubrey Worthey, Margie Havens, Addie Lane, Elwanda Blackshear and David Worthey.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Speed, Gwenda Penny, Norma Franklin and Jackie Speed; and her stepchildren, Kenneth Thomas (Pat), Roy Thomas (Elaine) and Sheryl Ashley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren along with a number of nieces & nephews.
