He is survived by: his son Jeff "JD" Simmons of Aubrey, Texas; his grandson Cayden Simmons of Jupiter, Florida; his sister Sondra Wolin (Dennis) of Laguna Niguel, California; his niece Jennifer Fitter of San Clemente, California; and his nephews, Paul, David and John Yarger of Arizona. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
