He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Taft Alexander and Lily Mae Rose; his wife Mildred Dean Alexander; his son-in-law Glen Weldon Britt; and his granddaughter Brittney Dawn Alexander.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Craig Alexander, Billy Howard Alexander and Brenda Gail Britt; and his grandchildren, Brian Craig Alexander, Crystal Dejona Allen, Matthew Logan Alexander and Cody Christopher Alexander. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the food bank.
