He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Benton Broadway, Sr. and Esther Naomi Koehn Broadway; his son-in-law Ronnie Slagle; and his sisters-in-law, Dewey Brown, Jake Broadway (Dave), Anna Hollingsworth, Don Simmons, Jane Broadway, Edmond Broadway (Sue), Pete Broadway, Jeanne Brown, Burl Hollingsworth, Mary Simmons, Bobby Broadway, Ursula Broadway and Ken Broadway (Pat).

He is survived by: his spouse Kay Frances Poole; his children, Alvis Benton Broadway, III of Paris, Brenda Slagle of Maypearl, Denise Nicholson (David) of Sumner and Renee Sherrill (Larry) of Paris; his grandchildren, Chris Slagle (Valerie), Mindy Schwalm (Corbin), Dustin Broadway (Kimmy), Joseph Nicholson, Ethan Nicholson (Makayla), Monty Melton (Stefanie), Monica Melton, Michael Farris and Jill Sherrill; and his great grandchildren, Garrett Slagle, Gunner Slagle, Lillian Nicholson, Liam Broadway, Spur Nicholson, Emmett Broadway, Bronc Nicholson, Tyler Melton, William Melton, Hunter Melton and Lexi Melton. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
