She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard A. Hornor and Lavoo Maulsby Hornor; her former spouse Merrell Boyd; her husbands, Richard Persinger and Merrill Boyd; her daughter LuAnn Lavoo Ables; and her sister Richadetta Michell (Sam).
She is survived by: her pet Precious; her children, Mickie Powers (Bob) and Richard Persinger II (Shay); her son-in-law Verg Ables; her grandchildren, Mike Eddins (Veronica), Brent Eddins (Edie), Brian Persinger (Wendy), Amy Poteet (Brett) and Sarah Marzellas (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Lia Perez (Dylon Lowe), Vicky Perez (Andrew), Abby Eddins, Katie, Ellie Poteet, Braydon, Jayce Persinger and Blake Marzellas; and her great great grandchildren, Ariel Lowe and Sebastian Lowe.
