Shirley Story Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 84, Shirley Story of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James and Tressie Williams (Walls); her husbands, Wiley Bob Howard (Mickey) and Cecil Lee Story; and her siblings, Tressie Mae Baker, Billy, Earl, Frankie and Robert Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Thedford (late Daniel), Teresa (Michael Whaley), Billy Howard (Alejandra Guerrero) and Michael Story (Amanda). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Murray - Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shooks Chapel Cemetery.
