We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2022, at the age of 91, Rex Milton Hendrix of Sulphur Springs, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buman Hendrix and Letha Ester Hendrix (Jaggers); his wife Dolores Hendrix; and his brothers, G. B. "Bud" Hendrix and Pat Joel Hendrix.
He is survived by: his children, Lyndia Dian Silvers (Hendrix) of Denison, TX, Rexalun Suzann Hendrix of Denison, TX, Gail Ann Shaffer (Hendrix) of Emory, TX, Tammy Jo Edney (Hendrix) of Sun City, AZ, Joy Pittman (Larry) of Mt. Vernon and Robert "Bobby" Bell (Janie) of Ardmore, OK; his grandchildren, Angelyn Puckett (John), Paul Ford (Corina), Scott Guerra, Ryan Medlock, Brandi Loucks (Jeromy), William Crawford, Jillion Becker (Michael), Amanda Duffer (Drew), William E. Shaffer, Marcy Terry (Shawn), Robin Roden (Allison), Lacey Tomanek (Matt), Clay Bell and Kimberly Normile; his great grandchildren, Michael Ford, Allison Ford, Abigail Ford, AnnaMaria Puckett, Travis Guerra, Dakota Guerra, Alexi Crawford, Kaili Loucks, Elijah Loucks, Joseph Becker, Zechariah Becker, Emerson Becker, Mara Becker, Gwen Becker, Austin Duffer, Audrey Duffer, Clara Duffer, Dustin Cussimanio, Jason Ford, Marina Terry, Melody Terry, Emma Roden, Ashlyn Roden, Sutton Tomanek, Arlo Tomanek, Clayton Bell, Cody Bell and Madison Normile; his great great grandchildren, Romeo Cussimanio, Tori Cussimanio and Max Rusk; and his brother Mack Hendrix (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
