He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris McCord and Grace McCord; his brothers, Billy McCord, Bobby McCord, Mack McCord and Benny McCord; and his children, Douglas McCord and Cynthia McCord.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Owen; his children, Chuck McCord (Tina) and Tommye Johnson (Eddy); his grandchildren, Cody McCord, Cord Alvarez, Kelby Alvarez, Courtney Dunston and Trey Alvarez; and his siblings, Sarah Miller and Mickey McCord. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
