She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Mack and Bessie Mae Steen (Stapleton); her husband Joseph York; and her daughter Barbara York Perry. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo York, Billy York, Virginia Moss and Sue Essary; and her sister Bessie Mae Whitson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson - Orwosky Funeral Home (803 N Texas St, Emory, TX 75440). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hooker Ridge Cemetery (7693 FM 513, Lone Oak, TX 75453).
