He is survived by: his wife Dorthy Hillis of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his children, Calvin Hillis (Renee) of Aransas Pass, Tommy Hillis (Terri) of Ingleside, Darrell Crocker of West Tawakoni, Randy Mays of Rusk, Texas, Patricia Harris (Brian) of Mineola, Vicki Ferrell (Jackey) of Sulphur Springs, Sherrie Ross of Payne Springs, Linda Ross of Eustace and Karen Terry of Texarkana, Texas; and his siblings, Cullom Hillis, Joe Hillis, Bennie Hillis, Ruby Atkins, Winona Forbes, Lennie Sharrow, Neva Yarbrough, Dorothy Shields and Minnie Reagor. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
