She is survived by: her husband Arles Vandiver; her children, Mark Bowen (Stacey), Lisa McCaig (David), Kelly Bowen (Cristie), Stacy Higginbotham (John), Benton Vandiver (Julia), Cathy McBride (Melvin) and Ken Vandiver (Candy); her grandchildren, Marcus and Marti Lynn Bowen; her brothers, Wayne, Ronnie and Wendell Durrett; and her sisters-in-law, Glenda Kitchens and Renee Beadles.
