James Elvis Tully Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elvis Tully of Sulphur Springs, Texas, born in Dike, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee and Rosa Bell Tully (Eades); and his siblings, Vertis, Robert Tully and Floy Moore, IV (Bruno).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Simpson; his children, Randy McWhirter of Seguin, Susan Tully Pate Adams of Katy, Terri Lynch (Ernest) of McKinney and Gina Bruton (Derrick) of McKinney; his grandchildren, Brittney Pate of Haslet, Melissa Adams of Denton, Annelise Lynch of Houston, Nathan Lynch of Houston, Kale Bruton of Richardson and Reid Bruton of McKinney; and his great grandchildren, Braxton of Haslet, Charley of Haslet and Jace of Haslet. He is also survived by friends and family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the League Street Church of Christ Youth Fund or the American Cancer Society.
