James Patton Sr. Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Patton Sr. in Sulphur Springs, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Othal Kelly Patton and Gertrude Sylvia Patton. He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Patton of Sulphur Springs; his sons, Kelly Patton (Joan) of Tucson, Kevin Patton (Shannon) of Lone Oak, Kurt Patton (Roxanne) of Quinlan and Kyle Patton of Lone Oak, Texas; his grandchildren, Rick Patton, Karlyn Patton Valenzuela (Garrett), Kelsie Patton, Kinsey Patton Palmer (Tristan), Shyann Haught, Kassi Patton, Brittany Patton, Ryan Patton, Korbin Patton, Cade Patton and Jada Patton; his great grandchild Adaline Valenzuela; and his siblings, Terry Patton and Brenda Farrington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jim's life-long dream of becoming a Packers season ticket holder became a reality in 2020, although due to the pandemic of 2020, fans were not allowed to attend games.

In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made to Jim's favorite charities – Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
