He is survived by: his son Scout; his wife Annada Elliott Jones; his niece Nancy Smith of New Mexico; his cousins, Gary Harrell (Lynn), Mary Pierce (Ed) of El Dorado and Jimmy Gilbert (Susie); his extended family, James, Frank and Della Jones; his sister Barbara Ann Jones Smith; and his niece Kathleen Smith Sartin.
Additionally, he worked with Sulphur Bluff Scholarship Foundation.
