He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Helfferich and Gertrude Helfferich (Elizabeth); his children, Shirley and Raymond; his great grandchild Abby; his grandson Michael; his partner Muttley; and his siblings, Alice, George and Eugene.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Helfferich; his children, James "Jim" V. Helfferich (Tracey), David Helfferich, Sam Helfferich and Kathy Johnson (Delbert); his grandchildren, Michelle (Matt), Jennifer (Justin), Jeffrey, Jimmy (Whitney), Bridgette, Andy, Tommy, Lacey (Mauricio), Brittany and Dustin; and his great grandchildren, AJ, Avery, Jacie, Julie, Hadley, Wade and Brintlie.
