We bid farewell to James Wade Gregg of Sulphur Springs, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 88. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mark Gregg and Mary Rebecca Kitts Gregg; and his siblings, Billy Braz Gregg and Josephine Echols. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Groves; his daughters, Diane Breneman (Bill) and Karen Zitterich (Ron); his grandchildren, Matthew Zitterich (Chelsea), Kyle Zitterich (Marisa), Dalton Walthall (Kyla), Holly Booth, Joshua Breneman and Robert Breneman (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Diane Booth, Kruz Zitterich, Cash Zitterich, Zoe Walthall, Grace Breneman, Judah Breneman, Scottlyn Breneman, Lukas Breneman, Harlie Reidmier and Camryn Reidmier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Restlawn Memorial Park (5784 TX-154, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
