It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Jean Delcambre of Sulphur Springs, Texas, born in Campbell, Texas, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie Harris Sr. and Pearl Lee Kelly Harris; her siblings, Thelma Williams, Dorothy Peace, Wanda Whitmore, Alice F. Williams and Finnie; her nieces, Vikiesha Williams and Melissa Johnson; her brothers-in-law, James Peace, Jerry Wilkerson, Oscar Williams and James Whitmore; and her son-in-law Matthew Williams.
She is survived by: her siblings, Annie Wilkerson, Jane Clayton and Sammie Harris Jr.; her grandchildren, Markelle Williams and Zacharius Spigner Jr.; and her close friend Lou Jean Barrett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.
