She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Temple Simmons and Flo Simmons of Reilly Springs, Texas.; her husband Phil; her children, Kristi (Brandon Kersh), Scott (Jenny Kenley) and Blair (Kristin Kenley); her grandchildren, Tanner, Sam, Addy and Reagan Kenley; and her brothers, Richard and Michael Simmons.
