With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Lawson (Sulphur Springs, Texas), who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milam Lawson and Maudie Lawson; his son Jim Franklin Lawson; and his siblings, Mae Cole, L. V. Lawson, Ellis Lawson and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Danny Lawson (Joretta), Wayne Lawson, John Swann (Kristin) of Sulphur Springs and Billy Gene Lawson of Missouri; and his sisters, Nell Branch of Carrollton, Bonnie Chester and Judy Wyly of Sulphur Springs, Texas.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
