She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Burns and Guylah Burns of Delta County; and her daughters, Gena McFadden and Jana Hankins. She is survived by: her daughter Janina; her brother W. T. Burns (Linda); her grandchildren, Marisa Phillips, Hannah Tatum, Michael McFadden and Patrick Matthews; her great grandchildren, Lainey, Blake, Reagan, Hayleigh and Callan; her nephews, Brent, Barry, Bradley, Jimmy, Chuck, Denny, Kent and Britt; her caregivers, Emily and Jean; and her son-in-law Scott.
