It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Lindsey of Sulphur Springs, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Eugene McKee and Mollie Lee Anna McKee; her husband Roy Fay Lindsey; her daughter Juiquitta Hilton; her granddaughter Sue Ellen Hilton; and her siblings, Silas McKee, Harold McKee, Mural Mitchell, Laverne Mitchell and Jewel McNew.
She is survived by: her daughter Molly Plunk; her grandchildren, Frank McKee, Jonnie McKee, Tammi Anstead, Nicholas Plunk (Rachel), Rebecca Alexander (Daniel), Sarah Plunk and Lindsey Lollar (Ronnie); and her great grandchildren, Abigail Alexander, Elisabeth Stutzman (Caleb), Katelyn Alexander, Andrew Alexander, Joshua Alexander, Brennan Lollar, Zane Lollar, Arie Lollar, Scarlett Plunk and Witten Plunk.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
