She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Kistenmacher and Mary Grace Kistenmacher (Rowell); her husband Hoyt W. Gideon; her son Jeffrey W. Gideon; and her brother Edward Kistenmacher, Jr. (Billie).
She is survived by: her children, Gail Westbrook (Charles) of Sulphur Springs and Jane Lawrence (Paul) of Kingsport, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Ashly Westbrook, Chasen Westbrook (Elizabeth), Alyssa Lawrence, Andrea Lawrence, Javier Nieves-Arce and Stephanie Nieves-Arce; and her great grandchildren, Harper Westbrook, Aubrey Westbrook and Maven Westbrook.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Murray - Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (5784 TX-154, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
