He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Kirkpatrick (Hill) and John Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Ray Kirkpatrick, James Kirkpatrick, JP Kirkpatrick, Sybil Jones, Roena Butcher and Vannoy Gentles.
He is survived by: his spouse Dama Kirkpatrick; his daughters, Debbie Clater (Jim), Donna Brown (Dale), Lisa Smithers (Cheyenne) and Phyllis McPherson; and his sisters, Ann Oliver (Mike) of Sulphur Springs and Sindy Anderson (Lynn) of Greenville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
