He was predeceased by: his parents, K. C. Bolton and Mable Bolton (Swatsell); his wife Jean Bolton; his siblings, Winston Bolton, Jerry Bolton, Doyle Bolton, Marshall Bolton, Geraldine Greer, Lois Montgomery and Sue O'Neal; his stepson Harold Ragan; and his great grandchild Bryson Melton.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Bolton of Caddo Mills and Mike Booth of Sulphur Springs; his stepsons, Truman (Deanne Ragan) of Sulphur Springs, David Ragan of Sulphur Springs and Lance Ragan of Kansas; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Heath Beggs, Macie, Chad Joiner, Lacie, Everett Jennings and Cassy Bolton Smith; his stepgrandchildren, Jeramy, Hannah Booth, Tanner, Holly Ragan, Colter Ragan, Josh Boatman, Blake, Chandra Ragan of Sulphur Springs, Ryder, Rhett Ragan and Dooley Ragan of Sulphur Springs; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Joiner, Braxton Jennings, Baelyn Jennings and Taytum Smith; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Dylan Ragan, Brady, Fancie, Gage Ragan, Reese, Ramsey, Ryan Ragan, Bayler, Brett Boatman, Quinton, Kalab, Hadley Booth and Leda Lanier of Sulphur Springs.
