With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Artie Mae Bailey (Sulphur Springs, Texas), born in Yantis, Texas, who passed away on April 25, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sharp and Lura Folmar Sharp; her husband Grover H. Bailey; her son Gary H. Bailey; and her siblings, Ernest Chilton Sharp and Sterlena Emerson.
She is survived by: her son Kerry L. Bailey of Reilly Springs; her sister Betty McDaniel (Truman) of Gilmer; her grandchildren, Grant H. Bailey (Melissa) and Astin Bailey Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Austin Reilly Duncan, Gage Hunter Bailey and Kaden Lane Bailey.
