She was predeceased by: her former husband Gary Frank Johnson; her husband Van Hall Adams; her mother Janice Chambliss; her mother-in-law Betty Johnson; and her sister Rosie Chambliss.
She is survived by: her son Dewayne Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Opal Normandean, Earnest Johnson, Eddie Johnson and Freida Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
