It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfonzo Mendez of Sulphur Springs, Texas, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife MaLu Nunez; his daughter Zandra Xiomara Johnson; his grandchildren, Sabina, Spencer and Johnny; his children, Michelle, Eric and Luis Mendez; his stepdaughter Marga Tubb (Steve); and his stepgrandchildren, Nizia Horton and Kai Tubb.
